Insert molding

Along with offering conventional injection molding, Lewis Plastics has several presses dedicated to insert molding. We have 3 vertical rotary presses that go up to 220 U.S. Tons.

These presses allow us to make large parts with large complex inserts. This size allows us to make several variations of filters using many different types of media ranging from knitted polyester to stainless steel, as well as small parts using precision metal inserts.
